The Tiger Heavy Tank (also known as: Tiger Tank / Tiger I Tank / Tank VI) was a heavy tank used by the German Army in World War II.
The Tiger Tank was active on the front lines of the battlefield from the second half of 1942 until the German surrender in 1945. The Tiger destroyed a large number of enemy tanks as well as other artillery pieces during the war, making it a dangerous opponent for all Allied tanks. And any Allied tank that was able to destroy or injure a Tiger in combat, resulting in its abandonment, was honorably known as a Tiger Tamer.
